About Robb Braun, the business man

As Founder and President of The Leadership Source^TM, I bring over 20 years experience as a training and personal development professional. I am an experienced leader who has led and developed over 3000 participants in personal growth and corporate trainings throughout the United States and overseas. I was a training specialist in the US Navy and delivered highly technical training to hundreds of personnel during my military years. I later spent many years as a business owner developing and managing personnel. I have participated in executive leadership trainings, mastery communications courses and am an active member of Toastmasters International.

I created, developed and implemented two largely impactful projects at a resort casino. I developed and led an executive training program geared to teach over 600 managers how to better lead, develop and inspire their personnel. I also created and implemented a 'guide program' that led ultimately to increased communications between floor personnel and management and to greater leadership effectiveness of the supervisory staff. Overall, both team-building projects led to increased guest service and business efficiency.

Most recently, I co-created and co-developed an organization (IAPA Worldwide) intended to lead public agencies into the future by addressing the core values of each of its individual leaders and the organization as a whole. The project was designed to challenge the norms and 'lack' consciousness and the belief that change is out of 'our control'. The Institute for the Advancement of Public/Private Agencies (IAPA Worldwide) has already successfully guided for one agency greater than ten percent of its entire staff resulting in greater communication successes, more effective decision making processes, and an overall individual satisfaction in the new ways of personal leadership.

Now each week I am off to deliver specialized trainings and provide professional support to leaders in an array of disciplines from California to New Jersey. I am an extremely gifted motivational and inspirational speaker who, with great ease, can deliver to any size group. My core strength lies in my ability to lead others to self-empowerment through strong communication skills and my sincerest desire to help people. My greatest passion is to enthusiastically lead people through disciplined training and preparation resulting in their ability to lead themselves toward higher aspirations.

I am the daily driving force behind my mission and leadership goals. I have decades of experience in the areas of leadership, training and personal development. I have a dynamic and thoughtful approach that I guarantee to bring excitement and results to all those who choose to participate with me.

"I Build and Develop Teams!" - I guide teams to develop their identity and know their mission and purpose. I teach individuals to identify their roles and responsibilities to the team, a team that serves the company.

"I Develop and Inspire Leaders!" - I coach and support leaders and managers of people. I help them to identify their strengths and the areas they will want to make changes. I guide leaders of people to identify their style of leadership and how to motivate, inspire and lead more effectively.

About Robb Braun, the man

I reside in Temecula, CA. I came to nearby San Diego when I joined the Navy in 1980. I made it back to San Diego in 1983 and have called it home since. There was no place I called 'home' before then.

I was married and widowed after 11 years. I've since been married and divorced and I have a son from each marriage. Linda and I are now married after learnig about each other for the past four years.  We were married December 22, 2008 in the Dominican Republic. She is the one - strong, smart, generous and completely loving. She's an extraordinary and unconventional woman, which is why she chose me and I chose her. We'll live our lives out together, however long that's meant to be.

Now, my two boys - Chace and Baily. They both have initials BCB, but we really liked Brandon's middle name, Chace. I lost Chace when he was 19 years old. He was shot and killed in southeast San Diego in a drive-by shooting. He would have been 24. Baily is 9 years old and an angel among us all. Sometimes I get scared I'll lose him, too.

I've led an imperfect life and learned grand lessons along the way. I share with others that I live life full on. My past and present are my reasons why.

Our mission continues as we provide people leadership support in their lives outside the business world. Through collaborative efforts, our vision is to teach, guide and mentor each individual to 'take the lead', to take responsibility for every area of their respective lives.

The Leadership Source^TM began in 2004 to provide business owners a way to develop and keep good people while gaining for themselves greater clarity on their own business goals. Once the process began, many discovered the need to take these same lessons to other parts of their lives. Without exception, the recognition for balance between the business and personal worlds become apparent by all.
